Alocasia are some of the most attractive houseplant you could own. Native to tropical regions of South Asia there are about 90 species. While these plants can grow small, pale flowers in the right conditions, they're mostly known for their glossy, heart-shaped leaves with ruffled edges and sometimes a mix of creamy white veining or contrasting leaves.

The Alocasia Zebrina is one of the most sort after varieties with the standard dragon scale type foliage it would look like most Alocasia but it’s the long zebra patterned stems that make them amazing and stand out from the rest! They thrive best in bright indirect light and humid conditions, too much direct sun can scorch their leaves so be mindful of this.

How to care for your Alocasia -

Water:  Letting these dry to the touch but never fully is best. Bottom watering can often be beneficial to keep water from pooling around the delicate stems causing rot. USE RAIN WATER FOR HEALTHY GROWTH

Light: Bright indirect light is best. Too much sun and the leaves will scorch, but too little and it will become leggy and sparse.

Humidity:  Loves higher humidity but this can be achieved with a mist if it can’t be placed in a bathroom or by adding some pebbles into the bottom of the decorative pot with a little water so it evaporates around the plant.

Temperature: Average room temperatures but nothing below 12’c.
