How to care for your Stromanthe
Water: They must be kept in semi damp soil, but definitely do not allow the plant to sit in water or in very wet soil. Think little and often as a watering policy allowing the top 1-2 inches to dry to the touch.
Light: Calathea need plenty of indirect light, no full sun EVER. Your Tristar could lose variegation when grown in low light, and it could also end up with stunted growth. Luckily, moving the plant into bright indirect light should fix the problem as long as it’s spotted in time.
Humidity: They enjoy humidity, brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low or that your tap water is to harsh (they love rain water).
Temperature: They like warmth, about 20 degrees C. Please no draughts.
