Native to Southern China - the Chinese money plant or pancake plant is one of the most sought after houseplants. This succulents round leaves can grow to a diameter of 10cm and is one of the easiest plants to care for and propagate. It really is the gift that keeps on giving. When the babies appear out of the soil, cut each little plantlet with a sharp knife pot them in water for a bit until strong roots grow then pot into soil.
How to care for your Pilea Peperomioides
Water: If possible water from the bottom, about every 7-10 days but less in winter and mist over the leaves every few days.
Light: They enjoy bright but indirect sunlight.
Humidity: Regular humidity levels are sufficient.
Temperature: They enjoy warmth, about 20 degrees C. and can sulk in winter.
