Succulent Terrarium Workshop - Sun 22nd Feb 2026

Gray's of Rothwell will be hosting an informative, hands on workshop all about Houseplants and making terrariums so why not come beat the New Year Blues with Queen of Green who will be popping in for a few hours of Urban Jungle indulgence!

You'll be greeted with a smile and a beverage/cake, before enjoying a little houseplant presentation. Learning a few tips and tricks that have worked for me and that will keep houseplants thriving, before moving on to the history of terrariums, why they work well for beginners and a guided demo where you will then be let loose and provided with all you need to make your own easy care, open, succulent terrarium on the day to take home and enjoy. You will also get aftercare advice and the chance to ask any questions throughout the session.

There will be the opportunity to view and purchase a selection of plants, pots and accessories, kind of like your very own private shopping event on the afternoon to. (Cash and card will be accepted)

Do you need to bring anything? Not really, everything is provided for you within the ticket price. Sometimes people like to bring along decorative items such as shells, sea glass and mini figures (eg ceramics and Lego) but try to keep them around 2/3cm in size nothing too large. Other than a can do attitude and a passion for plants not much else is needed.  (You don’t even need to be naturally green fingered!)

Age limits are in place due to Insurance so this is for anyone 14+ (the venue also has a step up to entrance and then stairs to the workshop room, so please be mindful of this too) Parking is available close by in Morrison’s or Marsh street car park.

If you need to Cancel this will be at Queen of Green's discretion and you'll need to email Sharon@queenofgreenhq.com to do this at least two weeks before (8th Feb 2026) stating full name and your booking ref. (this will be the order number on your confirmation email)

Note- a min number of 6 ppl are required to run this workshop. In the event we don’t book that, we will cancel and refund all participants in full.
