Monstera Deliciosa- Cheese Plant
This classic plant has been in fashion for decades, it’s always a popular choice for any home with space to fill as they grow quick and huge when given the right environment. Native to Peru and with a Latin name that translates to “big monster” it’s not difficult to see why this plant is always a firm favourite in any collection. The leaves become more of a statement piece as they mature too.
Water: Letting these dry out a bit in between watering is best, wait untill the top 1.5/2” of soil are dry.
Light: Bright indirect light is best. Too much sun and the leave will scorch, but too little and it will become leggy and sparse.
Humidity: Loves higher humidity but this can be achieved with a mist if it can’t be placed in a bathroom.
Temperature: Average room temperatures but nothing below 10’c.
