Gynura-purple passion

Gynura- the purple passion plant with a pet safe and air purifying rating. 

This distinctively exotic Purple Passion plant stands out among its climbing counterparts. A thick coat of violet hair covers the dark green, serrated leaves. As the Purple Passion ages, its sprouts bright orange flowers as the purple hair thins out. In spite of its odd texture, the leaves are pet safe. Plus, Purple Passion plant care is quite beginner friendly and is known for being an air purifying plant.

LIGHT - Bright indirect light is best as full sun can scorch leaves and shade will not encourage purple growth or blooms. 

WATER- The Gynura doesn’t like to dry out too much so keep it watered well and preferably from the bottom as they don’t like water in their leaves. In winter tail back and allow it to dry out a little more, they will droop when they need a soak.  A little feed in the summer months will help it thrive and they flower too with orange blooms. 

TEMPERATURES- standard home temperatures with a little humidity is good. Keep away from heat sources and draughts.
