Calathea Medallion
Calathea Medallion, is known for its lush big green leaves, with hints of silver and purple and a burgundy underside. They also help in purifying the air as well as looking gorgeous. This magnificent indoor plant is decorated with silver lines that make its appearance more prominent.
If the leaves of your Calathea Medallion curl up from the outer edges inward toward the central vein, check the environment because this means there's a problem with the environment where you placed your Calathea Medallion, check there are no draughts or heat sources and up the humidity.
How to care for your calathea
Water: They must be kept in damp soil at all times, but definitely do not allow the plant to sit in water or in very wet soil. Think little and often as a watering policy allowing the top 1cm to dry to the touch.
Light: Calathea need plenty of indirect light, but no full sun EVER. This particular Calathea can tolerate a bit of shade too.
Humidity: They enjoy humidity, brown leaf tips indicate that humidity is too low or that your tap water is to harsh (they love rain water).
Temperature: They like warmth, about 20 degrees C. Please no draughts.
