String of hearts, Chain of hearts, sweetheart vine. Whatever you call it this cute little addition is great for any house plant enthusiast. 

In its native habitat, String of Hearts can be found growing up trees reaching lengths of 4m high before forming thicker roots as it matures. It will grow in almost any soil and with perfect light conditions it will just grow and grow and grow.

It does produce tiny purple flowers although most keep this plant for its beautiful leaves. These are cute, small heartstring plants ready to hang, add to a shelf or in a plant hanger. 

A string of hearts would make a great houseplant gift for friends or family - surprise them with rainforest style!

Just don't over water and try to always do it from the bottom where possible by standing in a saucer.
